Now that we are past the halfway mark of the year – and with The Odyssey coming in just one week – it’s a good time to take stock of 2026 at the movies. On the podcast this week, Billy and I discussed each of our five favorites from the first half of the year.

The US Men’s National Team crashed out of the World Cup on Monday night (in disastrous and embarrassing fashion), but maybe your World Cup fever, like mine, hasn’t subsided. As we head into the final rounds of the tournament, here’s a few soccer movies to keep you going.
Dune: Part Three is coming December 18. Prepare accordingly with the full trailer released this week.
Kristen Stewart is bringing the stoner comedy back with The Wrong Girls. Along with her co-star Alia Shawkat, the cast features Lakeith Stanfield, Tony Hale, Zack Fox, and naturally, Seth Rogen. Check out the trailer for this one lighting up in theaters on August 14.
