“Your job is easy,” the masked man says coldly. “Go back to work. Do your job as usual. Win the trust of your coworkers. And figure out how to isolate them one by one. We’ll do the rest.”

He hands you a list of names and their respective departments. As you look at it, you see a few names of men you’ve had drinks with before. They could be considered friends.

“Make it happen. Or you go back to that wall, and I’ll make sure they never turn off that pump.”

As you pocket the list, your thoughts race. How can you do this? How can you drag anyone else into this? But what other choice do you have? Either you remain a prisoner or become their tool. You take a deep breath. You can do it. You have to do it. You must survive to ensure that the truth can one day come out.

The factory is noisy, and the heat is suffocating. The air is thick with the smell of metal and oil. You walk through the chaos of machines and men, feeling your heart pounding in your chest. You arrive at your first target: a man named Rod. You’ve worked with him for years, but you have never gotten close to him. In fact, many of your colleagues hate him for his arrogant attitude. He’s a good looking man and he knows it.

You force a smile.

“Hey, Rod,” you say in a casual tone. “Do you have a moment?”

Rod looks at you and narrows his eyes slightly. “What’s up, Matt?”

“I’m having a little get-together at my house tonight. Just a few guys. Some beer, some music… and, you know, I’ll be paying for some extra entertainment, if you know what I mean.”

Rod hesitates. His eyes drift to the to-do list on his clipboard. “I don’t know, man. You’ve never invited me before. Why now?”

“Why not? It’d be fun. You deserve a little extra.”

Rod looks at you thoughtfully. Then he nods, a slow, hesitant smile spreading across his face as he looks you over with new eyes. “Okay. I’m in. What time?”

You feel a knot in your stomach and a nagging sense of betrayal. But you push the feeling down.

“Six o’clock,” you say.

The rest of the day drags on. Every second feels like an eternity. You work, you laugh, you act. You’re a traitor and you’re good at it. When the shift ends, you leave with Rod and feel the dread wash over you.

“See you in few,” you say, forcing a natural smile. “Don’t be late.”

Rod laughs. “Wouldn’t dream of it.”

You watch him go, your stomach churning. You’ve done it. You’ve set the trap. You’ve betrayed your first man. You’re one step closer to freedom, but you know it’s not over yet. You’ll have to do it four more times. You have to recruit them all one by one, until the list is gone. And then you have to live with what you’ve done.

The sun is setting as you pull into your driveway. Your hands are shaking on the steering wheel. You’ve never been so nervous. You go inside and look around the house. Are they here yet?

“Hello?” you call out.

You wait. Your heart is pounding and your thoughts are racing. You can’t do this. You can’t. But you have to. You have no choice.

The doorbell rings. You jump, feeling your heart lodge in your throat. You take a deep breath and open the door.

Rod is standing there, smiling.

“Hey, man. Come on in. The others will be here soon.”

He steps inside and looks around the room. “Nice place,” he says casually. “Do you have any beer?”

You nod, your hands still shaking. “Yeah, in the fridge. Help yourself.”

He walks toward the kitchen, and as he goes, you see a shadow moving across the hallway. It’s the masked man. You step back, your heart pounding. “Rod, I…”

He turns around, an unopened beer in his hand. “You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”

The masked man enters the room, followed by Deputy Reed.

Rod’s smile fades. “What’s going on?”

The masked man doesn’t hesitate. He steps forward, and his gloved hand grabs Rod by the throat and slams him against the wall. Rod struggles, his eyes wide with fear. The officer is on him in an instant, quickly pulling down Rod’s pants and underwear. You can’t help but notice the thickness of Rod’s cock as the masked man squeezes his neck. Rod stares into your eyes as he struggles to free himself from the hands that hold him.

The deputy’s gaze sweeps over Rod’s body as a slow, wicked smile spreads across his face. “Good,” he mutters, reaching out to grip Rod’s now fully erect cock. “Look at that. A wonderful choice.”

Rod continues to look straight at you, eyes wide, as Reed drops to his knees and takes Rod’s egg-sized balls into his mouth.

You realize that neither the masked man nor the officer are paying attention to you in this moment. It’s possible that you might successfully subdue the masked man just long enough so that Rod would be free to help you take down Reed. The thought overwhelms you and you realize, if you’re going to do it, that it has to be now. They won’t be distracted forever and your window of opportunity is about to close.

Something inside you snaps. This isn’t just about survival anymore. You can’t let them do this. You can’t let them destroy another man. Your eyes dart around the room, landing on a heavy, ceramic lamp on the end table. It’s not a plan, it’s pure, animal instinct.
