Hello, and welcome to the August 2026 edition of Extra Dose. I’ll start with a special shoutout to our new premium members - so excited to have you in our growing community.
The last Extra Dose installment landed on the first day of summer, and like clockwork, we’ve reached August and are starting conversations with questions like, “Where did the summer go?” (The Progressive ad writes itself.) We’re not quite at the moment of fall sweaters and pumpkin spice everything making their yearly return, but we know that’s coming any day now (One contact just posted an Instagram story tracking an early Halloween candy sighting 😱).
Being partial to cooler temperatures 🥵, I’ll be ready for a relief from the heat when it arrives. At the same time, I’m grateful for a few more weeks before we return to our accelerated post-Labor Day pace. Here’s what I’ve been up to this summer and what I’m still looking forward to this month.
