Overview
This week marked a significant milestone in both personal and professional growth. From incorporating Kin Domi, Inc. to deepening user research and securing a path forward for visa challenges, the momentum has been incredible. The team is aligned, user feedback is promising, and meaningful connections are being formed at every step.

Goals Achieved

1. Planned the timeline for user & market research, MVP development, and incorporation to transition full-time.

2. Spoke to five potential users in the local community to understand their challenges.

3. Successfully converted one potential user into a willing to pay customer, even before launching the product.

Key Learnings from User Research

• Aging presents unexpected challenges that many don’t anticipate, particularly the need for human-centered tech.

• High demand for personal assistant tools tailored to seniors' unique needs.

Aligned with many like-minded individuals on the mission. Received overwhelmingly positive feedback from users, demonstrated intent to pay, and cultivated strong community interest to contribute.

• Ethical concerns regarding outreach to senior communities. Developed a strategy to begin with personal connections before approaching community administrations for support.

• Visa sponsorship. A clear path has now been defined after consulting with lawyers.

Highlights of the Week

1. A Root of Community Growth
While volunteering at Gamble Garden, I tackled an actual root—one planted back in June. The effort not only earned me a feature in the garden's newsletter but also led to a meaningful user interview with the garden manager. She was so inspired by our mission that she referred me to the executive director for future collaboration. This experience was symbolic: digging up roots of the past while planting seeds for a future deeply rooted in community connections.

2. The Unexpected Investor
A visit to my previous landlord turned into an enlightening user interview. As we caught up, he expressed interest in investing in the venture. This moment felt special—not only because he could become a willing to pay customer, but also because it demonstrated how personal connections can lead to tangible opportunities. We’re now considering making him a customer advocate advisor and organizing a tenant-landlord gathering in January to further engage his community.

• Incorporated Kin Domi, Inc. —formation documents submitted, share structures set, and the point of no return reached!

• O1 visa application is underway, addressing the long-term immigration risk thanks to support from a brilliant founder-turned-legal tech entrepreneur.

• The core team is now fully committed, with roles defined and the structure established.

• Extended the user research network through friends, referrals, and community connections like Vi and Gamble Garden.
