I was at Starbucks talking with Lisa C. when I happened to look down at the table and noticed the word “oriented” on the front page of the Daily Journal.
ORIENTED sightings happen to me all the time.
Not only because my reticular activating system is hyper-aware of it from using the ORIENTED.COM domain for as long as I did, but because it is a generic, ubiquitous word that is used every day around the world by millions of people.
Google it!
ORIENTED is just one of those words that sticks - for reasons I will detail later. And I say this because there was a time in my life when I wanted absolutely nothing to do with it!
And yet there was no escaping it.
In fact, after reading this post, I predict that, going forward — every time you see or hear the word “oriented” — you will not only think about me and the domain name ORIENTED.COM, but will also smile and say to yourself,
“By golly… she was right.”
Resistance is futile.
And that is the point I plan to make to my universe of buyers once my ducks are in order and the time is right.
We’ll see what happens.
