Good evening.
By the time that you read this I will hopefully be at 30,000 feet heading for Constantinople (I prefer the former name) and thence to join a ship and sail the wine dark sea - first port of call - Troy. There are a number of stops in the Aegean, the Med and Adriatic. The ones most anticipated (by me at least) are Mykonos as a jumping off place for a ferry to sacred Delos, birthplace of Apollo and Artemis and the city named for a Goddess. We call it Athens. In Greek script it reads Athena. They know which side their bread is buttered.
I have scheduled some posts which will go live while I am away and because - as Tina from Turners says - online is everywhere I hope to post a few articles but they won’t be Homeric.
Thank you all for your patience, your readership, your comments and your continued interest in the Halfling’s View project. It makes the writing worthwhile.
