While it might seem like I do a lot of things for my skin, I’m actually simplifying my routine and only focusing on things that actually work! Instead of reaching for Botox, over the past few years I’ve decided to see how far I can get with consistency, healthy habits, and supporting my skin naturally.

This isn’t about saying Botox is right or wrong or that I will never go back to it—it’s just a personal experiment that I’m having a lot of fun with right now. The photo above I have no botox. Zero. And no airbrushing or edits. Just a little simple makeup— Linking my routine here because it’s unreal for summer!

I will tell you that my 11’s used to be pretty deep. And they aren’t anymore. I’m shook this actually worked because I was very skeptical.

Currently my routine focuses on a few simple things that I’ve actually been consistent with.

I’ve been using face for the past 2 years or so and while I was skeptical…It really works! I face tape 2-3 nights a week (the more the merrier), across my forehead and where my crows feet are.

I’ve found it helps my skin look completely smooth in the morning and, more importantly, reminds those muscles to relax (and also not squish from the pillow) overnight. You really do wake up with smoothed out wrinkles and then throughout you see them a little more. But this cycle works and helps limit and reduce them overtime.

How I use it:

  1. Wash your face and finish your nighttime skincare routine. My current exact night products below!

  2. While you wait for your skincare to absorb (and it’s still slick) I go in with some facial cupping. This is a silly inexpensive little thing that packs powerful results. I’ve never liked gua sha stones as it feels hard on my face and I personally don’t feel good when I do it. Facial cupping though moves the blood around and creates healthy blood flow while also ironing out wrinkles and fine lines. Here’s a tutorial I found online if you’re new to it- I’ll share my own version as a reel sometime soon I promise. I do this for a few minutes and then you’re ready to tape down everything you’ve ironed out.

  3. Apply the tape- gently push the skin up a little to spread the wrinkle and then started at the top, adhere the tape and continue pressing it down to the bottom to hold everything in place. Be careful not to pull or stretch too much.

  4. Sleep in it overnight.

  5. Remove it gently in the morning before washing your face. Make sure you hold the skin down at the bottom of the tape and then slowly peel the tape upwards to remove. Never tug on the skin!

Like anything, I think consistency matters much more than expecting overnight results.

Now there are two types of tape I recommend. The first is easiest especially if you’re a first time taper. Seald brand make a great full forehead tape and little strips that are good for crows feet area — Linked Here

The other brand that I love and use nightly is the genuine Japanese tape that comes in a roll. The downside is that you need to cut the pieces yourself but I do it all in bulk so that they’re ready to go otherwise I don’t use them! I do three across my forehead and one by each crows feed area. This is most ideal as it’s good to have more control with three separate pieces on the forehead rather than one. However I’ve used them both and they both work. Choose what works best for you and what will get you to actually use them!

Now don’t expect to look tightly pulled the way botox does, but you will see the fine lines and wrinkles diminishing over time and reducing further damage. I see it most prominently in my 11s. It really works! Face taping, cupping, good skincare, great diet and hydration! Simple things that work.

The funny thing is...my skincare routine hasn’t changed very much.

I’m still using my Allies of Skin products along with the products I shared in my last wellness roundup because they’re simply working for me.

I’ve stopped feeling like I need to try every new launch or every product brands send my way. But I am all about hydration, skin cell turnover, peptides and PDRN all the way.

I’ve realized that using great products consistently is much more effective than constantly switching routines.

The exact current products I’m using nightly all linked below plus the best watermelon pizza you’re going to eat on repeat all summer long.

That’s the current routine right now and I will of course keep you updated should anything change.

We’ve just landed in Rome and about to begin our epic Euro/Israel trip. Can’t wait to share lots along the way. I will definitely be doing my facial cupping to de-puff after the flight.

But before I leave you I need to share a great recipe for your mid-week and tostadas are a new favorite. Since going mostly gluten free I’ve been throwing everything on almond tortillas. You MUST make these. The combo of the roasted garlic and zaatar is 10/10.

-1 red bell peppers

-2 zucchinis

-2 squashes
