Getting started migrating my blog

I've used a standard markdown parser to parse simple-ish text files I can quickly throw together and post
This will let me use "static site" and get away from WordPress which isn't bad, but it's got so many features that I don't want or use and whih need to be locked down for security.
The final straw for me was that I ws migrating my blog content off Medium and Substack and said "It's been a while, I shoud update the Wordpress for security" and it promptly broke the block editor. I was able to get the site updated and functioning fully except that one feature. However, it's vexing me greatly as to why it stopped working. It has to do with cross site orgigin protection except nothing I'm doing on the server or in settings is enforcing it - someting in one of the scripts or in the way the redirects work is just blowing up and I spun my wheels for a day or two before finally giving up.
I found it easier to write my own blog tool from scratch... seriously.
So,
This will replace
- My Wordpress
- my SubStack
- My Medium
It's using static markdown files and a markdown parser.
I am really just going to be doing minimal stuff here.
