The infamous “Blue Rooms” at Wright Patterson AFB are officially known as Building 18E (Unconventional Propulsion Laboratory) and Building 18F (Power Plant Cold Rooms) and are located in Area B of the base in Dayton, Ohio. Built in 1944 and 1945 respectively, they were constructed at the behest of General Henry “Hap” Arnold and Army Air Force Scientific Advisor Dr. Theodore von Karman as part of the Propulsion Directorate to exploit the findings of Massachusetts Institute of Technology radar expert Dr. David T. Griggs, Dr. Howard P. Robertson and Dr. Luis Alvarez during the ALSOS and CIOS missions of World War 2.

As Keith Chester’s meticulously researched book Strange Company - Military Encounters with UFOs in WWII (2007) points out, on August 18, 1942, Griggs was first tasked by Edward Bowles, expert consultant to the Secretary of War, to concern himself “primarily with the airborne application of radar and all related devices”. This made Griggs the US Army Air Force’s prime authority on Foo Fighters, as Robertson himself pointed out in his 1953 report on the panel he chaired. Roving behind enemy lines with Col. Boris Pash’s ALSOS Mission, Griggs raced to gain access to Nazi scientists and their scientific knowledge of “Unconventional Propulsion” methods. Alongside Griggs was Colonel Harold Watson, lead officer of the AAF Technical Intelligence Directorate at Wright Field. According to Chester’s brilliant research of official U.S. documents, Watson was issued with a “Blue Pass”, signed by General Eisenhower himself, which authorised him to “examine or remove any captured aircraft or item of enemy air and air radar equipment, whether found in the field or in factories, workshops, or dumps, and was permitted to travel anywhere else required”.

The infamous Foo Fighter incidents over Strasbourg, Stuttgart and Schweinfurt in 1943 prompted General “Hap” Arnold to direct General Carl “Tooey” Spaatz on October 28, 1943, to make sure Griggs “familiarize himself with the substance” of the incidents, and “interrogate personnel responsible for the information” in any memorandums “as well as personnel involved in any subsequent experiences of this general character”. Furthermore, Arnold wanted to personally review the transcripts of these interrogations himself. (Strange Company, pg. 85)

The discoveries made by Griggs and Watson with their “Blue Pass” access was the genesis of the “Blue Book” files and “Blue Room” that the initial reverse engineering programs of the other-worldly propulsion systems of the United States. The buildings of the Air Materiel Command’s Unconventional Propulsion Systems and Power Plant Cold Rooms were constructed the following year at a security level appropriate for research being conducted within its walls.

The Library of Congress records of historic buildings at Wright-Patterson has the following data:

Note the following:

Bricking up windows and other openings ONLY occurs when the security classification of the materials accessed and stored in that building is elevated to the highest levels possible - a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). How do I know this? Because I used to build and certify these types of facilities for the Australian and United States Governments and have had to do the same modifications. This isn’t another “Trust me, bro” story - I’ve got the receipts to prove it.

After leaving Boeing Defence Australia and the Intelligence Community in June 2013, I became a Security Construction Equipment Committee Endorsed Security Zone Consultant.

During my time as a SCEC Consultant, I had to undertake many security upgrades to building structures to make sure they were compliant with the Australian and U.S. security regulations for storage and processing information and materials up to Zone 5 (TOP SECRET/ CODEWORD) classifications.

History of the USAF Air Technical Intelligence Center

In fact, the USAF themselves called the room where the time lapse photography of radar scopes anomalies and related data the “Blue Room” in declassified documents.

1964 Presidential Election Republican candidate Senator Barry Goldwater, who was also a USAF Reserve Brigadier General, tried many times to get access to the buildings 18E and 18F at Wright Patterson, which he called “The Blue Rooms”.

The rumours of recovered alien technology in Building 18 was the underlying plot of the movie Hangar 18 (1980).

A satellite, just launched from a Space Shuttle orbiter, collides with an unidentified object, which, after being spotted on radar moving at great speeds, had positioned itself just over the ship. The collision kills an astronaut in the launch bay. The events are witnessed by Bancroft and Price, the astronauts aboard. After returning to Earth, they are stonewalled when they try to discuss what happened. Harry Forbes, deputy director of NASA, simply tells them that “everything is going to be all right”.

After it makes a controlled landing in the Arizona desert, the damaged alien spacecraft is taken to Wolf Air Force Base in Texas and installed in Hangar 18, where scientists and other technicians, headed by Harry Forbes, can study it. Due to an impending presidential election, government officials are anxious to prevent any public knowledge of the event.”

Blue Pass, Blue Book, Blue Room, Blue Beam, Blue Fly, Bluegill, Blue Berets, Kona Blue?

Is this a subtle hint at something?
