This is a quick announcement, or maybe more a bringing something to your attention post rather than a usual long newsletter. 

When Girl on the Net approached me about her Audio Porn project, I was beside myself. I am a long time fan of GOTN, we’ve actually been Twitter pals for well over a decade, collabed on a jewellery line for her brand and she's inspired my writing about sex and relationships, and how there's no set way or standard on how to do that. 

When she asked me if I would like to submit some of the archives of Dick Appointments I immediately had a few pieces in mind. We finally settled on, Reply Guy, Self Love (in the time of Corona) and both Shoegaze Dude part 1 and part 2. I’m excited to share them with you all. I did my own audio post a few years ago as a test, but in all honesty it took all the sexiness out of the post. I am weirdly not one of those people who hate hearing their own voice recordings (possibly because I had to listen to voice recordings of myself about 20x a day in my old job) but for some reason when I read out my post it sounded like I was robotically reading off a script. Fortunately GOTN gave me the option for the incredibly sexy voiced Sherryl Blu to record the Audio Porn instead. I can confirm having listened to it, this was 100% the better option.
