What: Four fully automated daily podcast feeds, generated from my newsletters and delivered as audio.
Clinical Signal — Healthcare: biopharma, clinical news, health tech.
Threads & Depth — Ideas worth sitting with: opinion, analysis, long-form thinking.
Signal from Noise — Daily news, filtered down to what matters.
The Stack — AI, tech, and the professional world.
Why: I subscribe to more newsletters than I have time to read. Walking the dog is a perfect time to listen, and a better way for me to learn.
How: NotebookLM for synthesis. Claude + MCP integrations for routing. A lightweight pipeline that turns incoming newsletters into published audio briefings. element.fm and Apple Podcasts for distribution to my iPhone.
I can now reshape how information reaches me — and where I consume it.
That used to require engineering. It doesn’t anymore.
You can, too.
This is what’s different about AI. For the first time, the people who understand what they need — but couldn’t build it themselves — can change the way the system behaves. That power used to live exclusively with engineers. It doesn’t anymore. It lives with anyone willing to figure it out.
Six months ago, I wouldn’t have tried. Too much engineering.
Three months ago, vibe coding wouldn’t have been up to the task. Too fragile.
Today it works. Not perfectly — but perfectly enough.
I’m building this publicly because sharing how things work is how we level the people around us. The code is freely available. Take what’s useful. Use what you need. Change it as you will.
Tomorrow I’ll show you exactly how it’s built — and be honest about who can do this right now versus who will be able to do it soon. On Friday, I’ll step back and talk about what it means when knowledge workers can reshape their own information environment.
The goal isn’t to impress, but to equip.
