I have been thinking about the future.
I go mad when I think about the future. It takes me all my energy to stay out of the past.
For 18 years I have been living ‘One Day At A Time’, and these times, they are a changing. So, living in the moment is increasingly hard for a man of my maturity and proximity to the end of times. What are we to do, and who will we become?
Well, as my path of sobriety has been like a roller coaster, so is life. And the future of the human race is in a perilous juxtaposition of increasing self-awareness and mindless catapultion into oblivion (excuse my hyperbole).
There is a YouTube video that I watched today that got me thinking about where this is all going and how we all will end. Whilst I have no crystal ball, it made me feel that this all seems a tad familiar, and that I should just pray, meditate, and enjoy the ride.
Here is an article that may explain my perspective.
