Before you toss out that banana peel...rub it on your face.
I know it sounds ridiculous. We thought it would be sticky, slimy, and completely overhyped, but to our surprise it felt more like applying a really good moisturizer. Our skin looked fresh, hydrated, and healthy—and it costs less than just about anything in your skincare routine.
1 ripe banana peel
Eat the banana (don’t skip this part).
Using the inside of the peel, gently massage your face for 2–3 minutes.
Focus on dry areas, fine lines, or blemishes.
Leave the residue on for 10–15 minutes.
Rinse with lukewarm water.
Use 2–3 times per week
Use it to make our Banana Peel Face Mask—one of our favorite recipes for soft, glowing skin. We pair it with lactic acid, and the results are incredible.
