The pitch is seductive. AI agents that can write code, generate content, research markets, draft emails, and manage projects — all autonomously. And individually, they deliver. A single Claude Code session can build a feature from scratch. A single GPT agent can produce a solid first draft of nearly anything.

The trouble starts when you try to run more than one.
