Reading and writing have always been an integral part of my life. I've always had a knack for writing essays, articles, and even poems in my high school years. But then some more important stuff got in the way and then college happened. So here's an article on Why do I write.

A little background 🎈

As I mentioned before Reading and Writing have always been an integral part of mine. My love for these started when I started reading books. I really liked reading them which led to my fondness for writing. I used to write essays and articles. Did I mention I also used to write stories?😅 and not some short stories here and there. They used to be well-composed. I took my time and wrote them with full devotion. Sometimes I took inspiration from Sherlock Holmes , Agatha Christie , Paulo Coelho and sometimes Harry Potter ( I've written about the after events of Deathly Hallows 😅 ).

How I rediscovered my knack for writing. 🌊

I'm a CS undergrad and had been busy upskilling myself due to which writing took a backseat and after a year it felt as though I locked it up in the boot. After the first year at my college, I found about Hashnode on Twitter(which is a fun place in itself😉) and Twitter only inspired me to write again. So I looked up Hashnode and it really impressed me. I immediately signed up for it and oh boy! , the community, the customizations, and the custom domain everything was spot on.

So I started writing here on Hashnode and it really felt bliss. On top of that now I was writing about the things which I love doing. I love coding and writing and now I'm able to do both at the same time. I write about coding and tips related to it. So it's a win-win.

I am really looking to up my game in the upcoming weeks and would be posting content regularly. 🥳

Do I just write just for the love of it? 🙄

Well, long answer short, No.

I do love writing and also have a passion for it but one of the things which inspired me to take it up over again was that I had always heard that if you teach others you'll only be increasing your knowledge and indeed it's true. If you write or explain something which you've learned it gets embedded in your mind and I've found it absolutely true.

I'm knowing quite a few programming languages as well so I write about them too. Besides that, I'm also documenting my journey to be a full-stack developer so these are some of the reasons why I became a technical writer. My recent posts include some questions every developer comes across while starting to learn to code.

Writing on such a special subject was suggested by these amazing people on the first day of the Hashnode Bootcamp.
