Re-bonjour team Designmom. Betty here again. Today I’m sharing a few Paris itineraries. You’ll notice they include some of the museums and bookstores I featured yesterday.

A perfect day in Paris includes 5 key elements: a museum and/or monument, a café, a movie, a bookshop (or any fun shop, really), and a park.

When I’m planning a tourist day for someone, I always start with the museum. If my visitor hasn’t been to all of The Big Three (I consider the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, and Orangerie to be The Big Three) then those are the must-sees. Nearly every museum will have an adjoining café, and for parks I usually just look on Maps to see the nearest green area to stop and rest, read, or eat.

Movies and bookshops depend on the area of course. In my Notes app, I keep track of some of my favorite “Paris Pairs” by location. The order of the itinerary options changes depending on energy, weather, who I’m hosting, etc.
