What does the artistic life of a movement say about its values? In this episode of Gendergeddon I consider what I called “Count 3” in the allegations against Political Transvestitism and specifically make my case that it is an artistic and aesthetic dead end that comes from a society saturated in aesthetic like never before.
I seek to persuade the listener that art plus fear equals propaganda, art plus banality equals memes and art plus violence equals pornography. My case is that PT is characterised by these three things and that it is ultimately derivative, banal, and most importantly a force of repetition and artistic recession.
