Some work needs a team. Some work just needs one person and a pencil sharpener.
After writing this week’s essay, I kept thinking about all the times I have made something a team project when it probably didn’t need to be one.
In this short reflection, I talk about what the essay helped me notice, including the difference between real teamwork, divide and conquer, and the kinds of assignments that make people annoyed before the work even begins.
Because I love teamwork.
I just don’t think everything needs to be teamwork.
