Ghost Month - Accumulating The Q4 Winners

We are entering the period that tends to be the most challenging on a seasonality basis in crypto, but also within a bear market environment as well.

However, within this August to September period when there isn’t too much exciting thing going on as liquidity tends to concentrate, we also tend to see which tokens are about to emerge as clear Q4 winners.

September is famously known as ghost month in crypto and is likely a month where people will tend to accumulate aggressively as they opt to frontrun the fabled “Q4 bottom”.
Based on Bitcoin’s long-run seasonality data, September tends to perform at roughly a -5.8% average monthly return.

However, this is not something to worry about if you plan this correctly. The best way to approach September is that it normally exposes what the market wants to own before Q4 liquidity returns, as we have seen this story multiple times.

If a token can’t hold its liquidity during a “dead market,” it probably doesn’t have any real demand either. The coming month will make one thing obvious to you, and that is selection.

Always worth keeping in mind that the closer we get to October, the more stress sidelined people will have about not being allocated, and any dip we get in the coming days/weeks will be bought aggressively, which is the green signal.
