Feeling Spread Across the Whole Body

Feeling moves through their entire frame, turning the whole body into one living reply to the salt around it. This does not shrink what they carry. It gives the feeling room to become motion.

A human tear is a small drop of saltwater the body lets go in a hard moment. A whale lives inside a whole world made of that same salt. Any sorrow it might shed would simply join the water already touching its skin.

The feeling we would send down our cheeks moves, for a whale, straight into the ocean that holds it.
