Rebekah Parr of Heart Farm is a dreamer. For years, when she attended Daré, a Healing Council on the first Sunday of the New Moon since April 1999 on behalf of individuals, community and Earth, Rebekah’s dreams were among those that guided us to be aware of the dangers that were threatening our community and community in general. These are the old, old ways, recognizing dreams as guidance for the community and, when appropriate, recognizing oneself as a vessel for such dreams and respecting them accordingly. In retrospect, it is as if she dreamed the current rise of violence and fascism associated with our administration and represented by ICE. Then she moved to New Mexico in order to assist a community of Chiricahua Apache elders in relationship to their water rights on their land. From time to time, she came to Daré online and once, we remember, she brought a dream that moved us particularly. In late June, she came to the Healers’ Intensive and reminded us of that dream.
She began, “The catastrophe is imminent. Everyone is scrambling. It’s coming for the earth, and it will destroy everything. Everyone is gathering around doing their own thing, trying to spend this last of our time together, but I found something. I found the song to save the world.”
She told us the dream and now you can also hear the wonder and the urgency of knowing there is a Song to save the world.

These are my words in response: It is 2026 and the world is turning fascist, wars are spreading across the globe, the President has restarted a war against Iran and against the environment. He is not sane and the grave danger to all beings is increasing rapidly. ICE is running amok in the United States, Netanyahu is pursuing genocide of Palestinians and Olive Trees, and where Earth isn’t burning with wildfires, She is flooding, and people are dying of the heat. We all feel catastrophe is imminent. We understand it is coming for Earth. BUT, we have a Song to Save the World.
Those of us who are truly concerned about Earth and these times have been doing what we can , and everything we can in all the ways we know, but we have not eased the grave situation. So what if also – IF ALSO – it will matter, it will make a difference if we all learn and sing the Song to Save the World. All of us.
Rebekah sang the song. Then she taught it to a small group at the Healers’ Intensive and they sang it and continue to do so. Then they taught it to everyone at the Intensive and we sang it and continue to do so. Then she came to Daré last Sunday and taught it to whoever was online and in the circle on the land. Then as I listened, it occurred to me, that you, reading this on SubStack, would want to sing and teach this Song to Save the World.
Why not?
Why don’t we all sing the Song to Save the World?
Here is Rebekah singing the Song.

Please listen. Please learn the Song. The dream said we must learn the Song exactly. So let’s learn it exactly and sing it.
Let’s save the world. Singing.
