Cricket Ireland announced the Irish international fixtures for 2026 on the 21st of March. The most interesting news, to me at least, was the inclusion of multiple series involving Afghanistan. I had questions, along with a feeling of disappointment, and for the last few days I’ve been anticipating reporting and opinion pieces on the issue. In a strange turn of events two accounts have appeared on mastodon.social impersonating me, and also sending direct messages. Why anyone thinks this is worth the time is beyond me. I've reported both accounts to the server admins. This is my only personal Mastodon account, and lives on my own instance (thanks to @ mastohost ). Accept no imitations.
