LV here in the Portal with a quick end of year (for us) check in.
We made DEAD GOOD CIC an official thing on 23 June 2023 when we registered with Companies House. So last week, we celebrated our second bad-ass business birthday and we marked this auspicious occasion by quietly cheering ‘yaaaayyy’ and waving our pens in the air on our weekly zoom team meeting.
It was quite an underwhelming and rubbish effort. BUT we will stick a pin in it and celebrate HARD at some point. We’ve been promising ourselves a Grief Rave for a while…
It’s difficult to dedicate time to frolicking when you are getting on with the sacred work of death. KV and I have been fully occupied over the last 12 months - grafting, making connections, nearly dying (ok, that was just me) and strategising.
