Firstly, my exhibition Initiated Desiring Universe at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop is now entering its last couple of weeks.
It is viewable from the street and lights are on 8am- 8pm.
This mixed media installation is the latest in an ongoing body of work informed by structures, textures and underlying narratives encountered during walks on Findhorn Beach and explorations of the surrounding landscape.
Hopefully you can make it along, last day is 7th June.

As a closing event to the exhibition at ESW I’m delighted to be hosting anthropologist Tim Ingold.
Free tickets are available here - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lines-of-inquiry-a-talk-with-tim-ingold-and-david-lemm-tickets-1988984505197?aff=oddtdtcreator
I first met Tim during my 2015 exhibition Debris and Phenomena at Edinburgh Printmakers and after discovering similar recent encounters with marram grass, I was keen to arrange this timely opportunity to chat with him.
During the event I will present recent work, followed by a talk by Tim and discussion around themes explored in the exhibition and beyond.
Saturday 6 June 2026, 2.30 – 4pm.

I’m excited to be exhibiting with Louise Bennetts at Custom Lane in Leith in June. The show is scheduled to open on 18 June and will be a collaborative exhibition of new works, forged independently but presented in dialogue. Our practices share common concerns around making, place and process and I’ll be revisiting the work I have previously done exploring materials used in the construction of the tram line in Leith.
We will also be doing a Talk at The Lane the following week on 24 June.
Please keep your eyes peeled for more details soon…
