Registration for the course closes this Monday, June 8th, at midnight Eastern Time. To register, follow these steps:

Read the Getting Started chapter from the Primer and follow the instructions. Those instructions show you how to complete the “Getting Started” and “Introduction to R” tutorials from the tutorial.helpers package. Submit your downloaded answers to these two tutorials via this Google form.

Why do we close registration a week early? First, we need a week to get organized —to survey student backgrounds, to help students complete the first homework, which is due before the first class. Second, we have found that students who wait till the last minute to register end up dropping the course the first week anyway.
