Black Rose,
rise up!
Shed your thorns
for my hands!
Waves crash!
Our castle’s
washed away
with the sands.
Teardrops
on my pillow.
I miss your hand
entwined with mine.
And I can't see
the rain-blurred
property signs,
"KEEP OUT!"
Black Rose–
sweet smell!
That's the
smell of dead flesh.
Black Rose–
Her magic clings!
Her sticky spell
is still fresh.
Beaten hearts
beating still.
You chained mine
with a grin.
My eyes,
my limbs
are weighed down
with our sin.
I didn't want to see
the rain-blurred
property signs,
"KEEP OUT!"
Black Rose,
you know
you’ll be
a part of me.
I’ll look back
someday and see
Black Rose
who once
made me bleed.
