President Donald Trump spoke at a rally last night in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in further endorsement of Darline Graham in her race against Ralph Norman for the Senate. Why he would do that, I really can’t tell you.
It certainly wasn’t done for any valid political reason. Darline Graham, as was clearly revealed in her debate with Norman on Tuesday, is a political novice - really, ignoramus is a better way to put it if we’re being honest here - has no visible leadership skills or powers of persuasion, and would no doubt become nothing more than a tool for John Thune to mold in his image once set firmly in this seat.
Despite all his criticism of Thune and advocacy for the Save America Act - which Thune detests and refuses to lift a finger to get done - we must assume that putting this budding establishment tool in the Senate to replace her deceased bother is exactly what the President wants.
