Welp, at long last we are seeing at least one sign of intelligent life coming from Republican Party in its lagging efforts to retain control of at least one house of congress in the midterm elections. As always seems to be the case these days, that lone sign of intelligence comes from President Donald Trump, who is flying out to Texas today to headline a fundraiser for Senate candidate Ken Paxton.
Paxton has had a hard time raising funds for his campaign thanks in large part to an obstruction effort organized by petulant toddler John Cornyn and his loyalists in the country club RINO sector, all of whom have a big case of the sads that their years of grifting in the nation’s capital are rapidly coming to an unceremonious end.
