California’s $12 billion effort to finance stem cell and gene therapy research is looking for someone who will help it use AI to bring “the promise of regenerative medicine closer to reality.”

The posting for the new position at the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) says the person will be the agency’s “technical expert for artificial intelligence, data engineering, and business intelligence initiatives.”

“Improved organizational effectiveness and data driven decision-making” are part of the responsibility of the job.
