This song is my musical impression of being sheltered and warm during an overnight blizzard at a mountain chalet then awaken to a blanket of sunlit virgin snow under a bright azure sky.

I love the snow, I will jump on a sled any time. I could watch it fall all day long. Perhaps this feeling stems from memories of those blissful “snow days” — meaning I didn’t have to go to the dreaded school and I could go play in the stuff all dang day! The first snow of the year always brings me a sense of elation and optimism.

During my young lunatic days, that meant throwing sandbags in the trunk, filling the tank, and go blasting down the road dodging the likes of you. Yep, I was “that #%$&*ing guy” that passed you, drifting sideways while going 60 in 6 inches of snow on my way to go hit the slopes!
