Here’s two stellar new pages from Killtopia: Phantoms issue 2, hitting Kickstarter on Friday, August 21st. Sign ups are now live here.
As always they feature art by the awesome Clark Bint with stunning colours by Emma Oosterhous.
This first page sees ex-Wrecker Bloody Mary as she drives home after a long day investigating a bootleg drug ring.
Her mind becomes haunted by #I/O - the murderous AI who was our first arc’s villain - trying to force her to run her own car off the road.
The second page shows Neo Tokyo’s gamified police force, incentivised by quick arrest bonuses and other micro payment rewards.
When personal gain is at stake, the concept of innocent and guilty no longer apply.
