Why the NEW Tate Brothers’ Extradition Motion Will Fail

In my latest video, I examine the new motion for release filed by Andrew and Tristan Tate as they contest their extradition proceedings in federal court. While their defense team has crafted a thorough argument pointing to their compliance with Romanian pre-trial release terms and the restrictive conditions of their confinement in Miami, the legal reality paint a very different picture.

In international extradition cases, the presumption sits firmly against bail under long-standing Supreme Court precedent. A defendant must prove by clear and convincing evidence that they are neither a flight risk nor a danger to the community, while also demonstrating extraordinary special circumstances. Given the far more severe, sweeping charges awaiting them in the UK and their extensive global connections, the claim that they present no flight risk simply doesn’t hold up in court.
