Data mesh is in demand, but our recent survey indicated that most organizations are at the start of their journey. It is clear that hiring talent accelerates the data mesh journey when we see that over half of respondents (56%) say they intend to spend 25% of their data mesh budgets on hiring new talent, contractors, and consultancies, while 26% expect to spend at least 50% of their budgets on hiring the right people.
