We’ve kicked off 2024 full steam ahead! We issued a Data Mesh Buy-In Whitepaper to help inform and share best practices for those looking to pursue a data mesh approach. The Data Mesh Learning community has also launched a new website to better support data pros along their data mesh journey.
We hosted a community survey in September 2023 to help answer one of the top questions we hear in the Data Mesh Learning community: “how did you get buy-in for data mesh” followed by “where do I start?”
We’ve compiled the insights gathered from this survey into a whitepaper: Getting Data Mesh Buy-In. There is no one “right” way to implement data mesh. Much depends on your organization’s culture and adaptability. What you will find, however, is that regardless of whether everyone had confidence in data mesh before the implementation began—they certainly did after.

The Data Mesh Learning Community has launched a new website to better serve data leaders who are on a data mesh journey and may visit the site to access resources, learn from fellow data mesh pros, make connections, attend an upcoming event and more. The new website provides a library of data mesh resources spanning articles, podcasts, and videos from data leaders. We have also made data mesh use cases and upcoming events easier to find and explore.
Please take a look, and let us know what you think. We want this website to be a one-stop-shop for all things data mesh, and appreciate any feedback to help us achieve that goal.
