Our polling data, our research briefs, this newsletter — all of it, no paywall, ever. Democratizing access to public opinion research is the whole point of what we do, and that shouldn’t depend on whether someone can pay for it.

But paid support is what lets us do more of it. It’s what funds more research and polling for more progressive partners. It lets us turn around rapid-response data amid a breaking news cycle. And it will help sustain the progressive movement for the fights — and wins — ahead.

• Advancing the Green New Deal and Build Back Better, and ultimately passing the IRA. Our research helped elevate the Green New Deal, shaped the public narrative around Build Back Better, and helped pass and implement the Inflation Reduction Act.

• Delivering progressive thought leadership on climate, justice, labor, and infrastructure. We’re proudly progressive, and author our own research and thought leadership, particularly on climate issues where progressive leadership is lacking or needed to shape ambitious and equitable solutions. In particular, we’ve led on carbon dioxide removal, transmission, community and labor benefits on clean energy projects, and environmental justice.

• Equipping the climate movement with timely and accurate research. We collaborate with a wide range of climate partners, including the Center for Climate Integrity, Climate and Community Institute, Jobs to Move America, the Reliable Grid Project, Groundwork Collaborative, the UAW Center for Manufacturing a Green Economy, the Environmental Polling Consortium, and more. With these and other partners, we’re working to advance a working class climate agenda; make polluters — and profiteers — pay for climate damages; protect workers and communities amid the AI and the data center boom; and advance high road community and labor standards in the energy transition.
