[+] The Blurred Line Between Greed and Hunger

A while ago I wrote a Das Z Letter called Never Enough. It was about my disturbing inability to fully enjoy progress before already looking for the next bit of it. My injury was getting better, running was slowly returning, and I could clearly see how far I had come. Still, somewhere in my head, ten good kilometers immediately raised the question of when I could run twenty again. Or even better: a hundred.

Well, is this greed, or is it ambition?
Or is it both. And what’s the difference, after all.

Small housekeeping note: Das Z [+] will be English only from now on. Substack’s translation function has become good enough that maintaining a separate German version makes little sense to me anymore.
