Milgromian dynamics (MOND) is a serious branch of theoretical non-relativistic physics every serious student ought to be knowledgeable of. The Holy Grail of Physics is the understanding why there is Milgrom's ubiquitous acceleration scale wherever one looks.
Preface by P.Kroupa: This is a guest post by Dr. Indranil Banik, a postdoc at the University of Portsmouth, who is studying solutions to the Hubble tension. An interesting aspect of his problem comes from the tension being the automatic result of the formation and continued evolution of the local KBC void , a void we Continue reading 113. The Hubble tension is a late Universe or local phenomenon
Modern physics, astrophysics and cosmology is wasting significant amounts of public research money in search for somethings that does not exist (dark matter particles).
The recent progress on applying the dynamical-friction-induced orbital decay of galaxy systems and on the asymmetry of the tidal tails of open star clusters and on a hitherto not realised significant CMB foreground inform us that essentially every pillar of the currently accepted cosmological model is wrong.

If dark matter halos were to be real then they would shield dwarf galaxies from damage as they orbit around larger galaxies or in galaxy clusters. The observed tidal deformations of most dwarf galaxies tell us that this shielding cannot be effective, i.e., that the dwarf galaxies are naked without dark matter halos.
I recently attended a three day conference on various tensions facing cosmology, including especially the Hubble tension and possible solutions to it. I will discuss talks on similar topics together in what follows. Just a quick reminder about the special issue in Galaxies on the Hubble tension that me and Harry Desmond are guest editing, where you can submit review articles and original research…
