Keeping track of on-screen AI use in film and TV production isn’t easy. Information is scattered across news articles (often paywalled), company websites and social media posts. There’s no single place that pulls it all together. So I’ve built one.
The On-Screen AI Use Database is a searchable, filterable record of productions that have made on-screen use of AI - how AI was used and how that use was disclosed. You can filter by AI use, format, genre, broadcaster, AI studio, disclosure status and year of release. It also includes links to view the AI use, where available. It currently has over 50 titles and I’ll be adding more as they come to my attention.

I use AI to gather information on each title, but all facts are then checked and verified by me before they go in the database - so any mistakes are mine, not AI's. Let me know if you spot anything wrong.
