I’ve been poking around the edges of the Atmosphere for a while now, because ATProto is mega interesting for all sorts of reasons, both technical and philosophical. Despite my Bluesky feed being full of Atproto nerds, I’ve so far resisted the urge to noodle with the protocol by building some silly stuff or spinning up a PDS, because I’d rather wait until I’ve got a slightly more practical use case…
