I’ve visited a lot of places over the years.
Historic cities. Tropical islands. Charming small towns. Bustling destinations that seem to show up on every travel bucket list.
But every once in a while, a destination sneaks up on you.
Alaska was that place for me.
I expected beautiful scenery.
I expected wildlife.
I expected glaciers.
What I didn’t expect was how deeply it would get under my skin.
There’s something about Alaska that feels different.
Maybe it’s the scale of it all.
The mountains seem bigger.
The skies seem wider.
The glaciers seem impossible.
You quickly realize that nature—not people—is still in charge here.
And honestly?
I loved that.
I remember standing on deck watching a glacier calve.
If you’ve never experienced it, imagine a wall of ancient blue ice the size of a skyscraper suddenly cracking loose and crashing into the water below. The sound reaches you a few seconds later - A thunderous boom.
It’s one of those moments where you stop talking…
Stop taking photos…
Stop trying to capture it….
You simply stand there and witness it.
Alaska is full of moments like that.
What surprised me most was how much Alaska is about stories.
Gold rush history.
Native cultures.
Fishing communities.
Railroads.
Pioneers.
Wildlife.
Every town has a story.
Every harbor has a history.
Every mountain seems to have a legend attached to it.
And as someone who loves destinations with personality and context, I found myself completely captivated.
Many of you have already watched my TV episode featuring Juneau.
If you haven’t yet, this is the perfect place to start.
Juneau has become one of my favorite destinations anywhere.
It has all the things I love:
Beautiful scenery.
Amazing food.
Rich history.
Friendly locals.
Wildlife around every corner.
And unlike most state capitals, you can’t simply drive there.
The journey is part of the adventure.

The truth is simple: One trip wasn’t enough.
Alaska is the kind of place that keeps calling you back.
You start thinking about the places you didn’t have time to see.
The trails you didn’t hike.
The wildlife you didn’t spot.
The stories you didn’t get to hear.
So in June 2027, I’m heading back…and this time, I’d love to share the experience with you.

This 11-day land and sea adventure combines everything I love about Alaska into one unforgettable journey. We’ll experience Denali, ride through spectacular wilderness by rail, cruise past massive glaciers, and explore some of Alaska’s most iconic destinations.

🚶 A guided walking FOOD tour of Juneau included.
🌲 A Natural History Tour of Denali National Park.
Along the way we’ll watch for whales, bears, eagles, mountain goats, and other wildlife while learning from National Park experts and local guides.
Because this isn’t a destination I picked from a brochure.
I’ve been there.
I’ve walked the streets.
I’ve filmed the stories.
I’ve experienced the moments that make Alaska so special.
When I lead a group, I’m not introducing you to a place I’ve researched…I’m introducing you to a place I’ve fallen in love with.
And that’s a very different experience.

Some places deserve to be experienced at least once in your lifetime.
