Writing to you with love to share two new songs we recently recorded in our little riverside studio. At the bottom of this email you’ll find our upcoming shows and Musicollage singing events.
I wrote Heaven’s Woods while thinking about life after death - wondering if the problems plaguing our planet could somehow magically vanish in the next life. What would that be like? Could we get closer to that in this life?
With the fires in LA and storms in Asheville sweeping through so many of our beloved communities - the song feels as pertinent as ever. It is a prayer for coexistence with our miraculous, hurting planet.
There are always small steps we can take to heal the planet. Right now, Los Angeles can use our support - so I’ll be donating all proceeds from Bandcamp for this song to support underserved affected by the fires in LA. You can find the song on Bandcamp and donate here. We will also be hosting a benefit concert for LA this Saturday in Frenchtown, NJ (details below).
Imagine is a song that Clover and I always return to when times get rough - and it’s one of the first songs we ever sang together as a duo. It felt right for it to be the first release under our joint project - Clover & Sundream
