Who do you think you are?

(This is slight departure from my usual type of essay, as it’s a missive from Griftslug, addressed to his demon-in-training, Snakeguts. They are my personal little devils, inspired by the infamous Screwtape and Wormwood, and every now and then I realize that their slithery voices are jabbering on in my head a bit too much and so I write it down to scare them off. I find that such nastiness flees in the light.
