Worsted weight hat with leaf colorwork motif.
It’s designed to be warm and quick to make. A nice little treat for yourself when the weather is cold.
Beginning with a long-tail cast-on, Hermit in the Woods is worked in the round, from the bottom-up ribbed brim. The body is worked in Stockinette Stitch, using two colors to create the motifs.
Solid and contrasting colors work best to highlight the design. I chose a dark blue color paired with orange to show off the details.
Colorwork is charted only.
