Hi! We packed a lot in this week. Construction started at the new house, Estelle and I took the girls downtown, we spent a day at Six Flags, and Kira flew in to walk through the house and to help me design all of our bedrooms. We did it! It was such a productive day and I feel so good about everything.
We had a really special night, and as I watched our kids run around, I was reminded of how lucky we are. My oldest has officially been off chemo for 4 years, and we spent those years in this beautiful home. As special as our home is, this new house is such a better (and more practical) fit for our family. It feels right.
A Reminder
On Monday I'll be sharing all the furniture we're selling with paid subscribers as a thank you for being here. The furniture is local pickup only, and needs to be picked up in the next two weeks. Anything that doesn't sell right away will be posted on Instagram.
The New House
Construction started at the new house. The basement floor and drop ceiling are gone, and we gained another 8-9” which is amazing. All of the bedroom carpet has been ripped out, and windows are getting replaced this coming week. It’s going to be a much faster process than our current house, but things are going to feel unfinished for a while.
The main goal of my time with Kira was to finalize wallpaper and fabric for windows, and to order all of our beds. We did it!
I already knew what wallpaper I wanted in all four rooms, and she helped me figure out the window treatments and everything else. I’m sharing where we landed on the girls rooms below.

This linen skirt (that’s on sale) is so easy and comfortable. I paired it with an (old) white cropped tank and my wrap sandals.
This tote from Vivrelle. It’s so fun for summer. Use code DANIELLEMOSS for your first month free!
