🌸 August update: bookings, a special moment and an invitation

Hi everyone, hope you are well :)

Thank you to everyone who submitted their requests. I’m all caught up on emails, so if you haven’t heard back from me yet, please check your spam folder! I still have appointments available in 2026, so head over to the booking form if you’ve been thinking about a new piece.

One of my favourite things about tattooing is knowing that my work goes out into the world with my clients as they live their lives. Having the tattoo as an everyday companion is already a beautiful thing, but it’s especially heartwarming seeing them peeking out during big moments and celebrations.

I was over the moon seeing the wonderful Luke Severn conducting the Bendigo Symphony Orchestra with his eucalyptus tattoo on display! I know how passionate Luke is about his work, so seeing my art up on stage with him during such a beautiful performance made me feel incredibly fortunate to be able to do the work I do. 🥹

Luke’s tattoo started with that shoulder piece, but over time we grew it much further, adding wattle and different stages of the eucalyptus foliage cascading down his back. This is one of my favourite projects I’ve ever worked on, and I’m truly grateful to Luke for the trust and the creative freedom (and the many hours of good chats 🤭). Now we just need to design a backless outfit for his next performance. 👀

I’d also like to invite you all to the upcoming TABI – The Art of Botanical Illustration exhibition! It’s a highly regarded biennial show featuring Australian and international botanical artists, held at the lovely Domain House in the Melbourne Royal Botanic Gardens.

I feel honoured to be part of the show this year with my cyclamen watercolour painting! 🌷As my mentor Dianne Emery says, the artwork is always different when you befriend the plant, and this is certainly the case here. This cyclamen was a lovely gift and has been living in my home for years, so I’ve put a lot of affection into this piece.

You can check out the exhibition between September 19 and October 04, from 10am to 4pm. Originals, prints and cards will be available for sale. For those of you who are not based in Melbourne, the online catalogue will be launched soon!
