🌸 April update: tattoo pictures and plans for the months ahead

Hi everyone, hope you are well. :)

My books are now closed for the next couple of months. I’ll be reopening them mid July for appointments from August – December 2026.

For this upcoming booking round, I’ve decided to take on a limited number of requests for cover-ups and reworks of old tattoos.

I can’t promise I’ll take on every request! I’ll be assessing what is possible to do on a case-by-case basis. But I’ve been studying some new techniques lately, and I feel ready for the challenge!

If you are considering a cover-up, here are a few important things to note:

• Cover-ups often need to be significantly larger than the original piece to ensure the new design looks “natural”

• When covering darker pieces, expect at least 2 sessions, since we need to gradually layer the pigment to get the best results

• Fine line work, minimal shading, and very light colours generally do not work well for covering dark tattoos

Lasering off your old tattoo, at least partially, continues to be the best way to ensure design flexibility. However, I understand that not everyone wants to go down this path, so let’s chat about what we can achieve together!
