There won’t be a new essay from me today.
I’m traveling, and rather than pretending I can write a proper Sunday essay while simultaneously packing, traveling, navigating airports, and doing all the other things that happen when you leave the country, I’m giving myself the week off:)
But I didn’t want to disappear completely.
The August issue of The Quiet Return is coming next Sunday, and I’ve been putting it together over the past few weeks.
As you know, my monthly issue is a little different from my usual Sunday essay.
This month, think:
Barcelona.
Motherhood.
Summer laziness.
The pendulum swing between doing everything and doing absolutely nothing.
A little wellness industry eye-rolling.
Body Language.
Oscar Wilde.
And a few things I’m changing my mind about.
Basically, a collection of things I’ve been thinking about, reading, eating, doing, questioning, and enjoying this summer.
And I’ll be adding one more piece while I’m in Barcelona:
Places…a few of my favorite discoveries from the trip.
So today, I’m taking a little break.
Next Sunday, The Quiet Return: The August Issue will be waiting for you.
See you then. ❤️
Dana
