Welcome to the Full Moon rundown! The Moon is going to be at its highest point of illumination soon, which means it’s time to maximize the lunar energy before we shed what’s unnecessary and go into the waning phases.

This Full Moon post will function as a roundup for the lunar event itself. You’ll find a description of the Moon’s overall energy, the decan and tarot card associations, and horoscope blurbs for each rising sign. This post is designed to provide all the lunar details so that you can maximize the energy at hand, or at least know how to navigate what’s swirling around you.

Good luck and remember to bask before you shed!

Eclipse part two hits us just in time for the weekend. Only this time we’re wrapping up a cycle— not opening one.

I’m going to stand ten toes down and say that this eclipse is more important than the one we had two weeks ago. The lunar nodes have only recently just ingressed into their new home of the Aquarius/Leo axis, so let’s not be so quick to forget where they came from.

Until recently, eclipses had been focused on the Pisces/Virgo axis. This was a cycle that was set in motion back in September of 2024. That cycle is rapidly coming to an end now that the lunar nodes have moved on, and this Full Moon marks the last eclipse within the Piscean portion of the axis. We’ll still have to close down Virgo, but that’s not until February of next year. This means that not only are we fully closing out half of the cycle, but that this is the last eclipse for the 2026 calendar year. We’ll be done with eclipses for the remainder of the year after this one.

But we do have to get through it— so let’s see what we’re working with and how we can best close out the Piscean portion of the axis.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 04° Pisces

This is a Full Moon eclipse, meaning that this will be a highlighter event. The Moon’s illumination is going to be purposeful. It’s something we cannot turn away from if we want to close out this cycle effectively. We should be pretty familiar with this area of life and all the changes it’s gone through over the last 2 years. Not only were the lunar nodes causing eclipses, but we also had Saturn’s energy ravaging Pisces as well. This means we’re needing to— I hate to say it— revisit our time with Saturn in Pisces.

If we want to close this cycle out with clarity, then we need to reflect on our time with Saturn in Pisces. This area of life has been through so much, and this Full Moon eclipse is acting like the final moment of clarity. We’re no longer confused or displaced in this area of life. We have more awareness and control. It’s time to step up (if we haven’t already) and own the realm of Pisces. It’s time to usher in a new era.

Any upheavals or revelations will not shake us. We’ve been tempered by the school of Saturn and know where our footholds lie within the Piscean sea of squish. Trust in these footholds and it’ll look like you’re walking on water. Doubt these footholds and you’ll sink into a sea of nostalgia and confusion.

The Moon will be Jupiter-ruled, which calls Leo’s energy into the mix. The realm of Leo (and Aquarius) is where the lunar nodes are pointing their energy now. The ending of the Piscean cycle begets the beginning of the Leo cycle. We are utilizing our knowledge and awareness within Pisces to burst open the doors of wisdom elsewhere. If we can finish strong within the realm of Pisces, we will have well-rounded confidence moving into the next phase. Leo’s energy tangentially touches this Full Moon eclipse and reminds us to see ourselves in the change, to make the closing of the cycle personal.

The other important piece of this eclipse is that is takes place less than 24 hours after the Mercury cazimi. The Full Moon will be opposing Mercury and what we learn during the cazimi may add to what we need to be aware of when closing down the realm of Pisces. Emotion and logic will be at odds, but again, the school of Saturn has given us footholds to cling to reality within the realm of Pisces. Do not forgo these footholds you worked so hard to create. They will allow us to see the magic in Mercury’s domiciled logic.

8 of Cups

The 8 of Cups depicts what it means to walk away, to leave behind— to close a cycle. The man on the card carries his passion with him via his bright red garb, but he’s needing to leave behind his emotion and emotional attachments. It’s a great reminder that we can be fervent without being swayed emotionally.

The Full Moon eclipse happening within the decan of Saturn feels like a nod to Saturn’s lessons within Pisces. We need to recall what it was like when Saturn was in this area of our lives. If we forget the lessons and favor daydreams, we will not be able to close out this area of life with any real clarity. The logical means that Mercury is handing us may feel foreign at first, but if we search for Saturn’s footholds, we’ll see it’s actually the perfect solution.

“A man carrying burdens on his shoulder, and well clothed; it hath signification in journeys, change of place, and in carefulness in getting wealth and clothes.”— Agrippa

The thing is, we are not being forced to walk away. We are not being forced to turn our backs. We are not being forced to close this cycle. We are choosing to. We are choosing to leave behind detrimental emotional ties and insidious nostalgia. We can be sad about doing what’s best for us while still doing what’s best for us.

Theme of the Moon

Closing the cycle within the Pisces portion of the eclipse axis.

Outdated mindsets and mental fetters will be examined and brought to light. Finding the balance between mind and body is key. Physical health begets mental health. It’s time to push past limiting beliefs and embrace a stronger connection to living your life.

Social spaces and community connects will be highlighted. There may be a push to be more social, but you have to ask if that actually serves you or not. It’s okay to outgrow a hobby or a means of pleasure. A change of pace with friends can be a good thing.

The push and pull between home life and career will be notable. You’re needing to close a major chapter in order to pursue the next big thing. Remember that none of this is possible without a strong home base. Take your next steps with care.

Your knowledge and expertise are beginning to show. People will want to use these skills for their own means, so you need to remember how hard you worked to get here. Make a habit out of seeking experiences that continually push you to learn and grow.

The power and resources of others will be highlighted. You’ll need to think about how other people sway you and impact your journey— especially financially. Debts and finances need careful consideration as you move into the next iteration of life.

The terms and conditions of an agreement may be changing. This does not mean there needs to be a dissolution, but rather, a redefining of the arrangement. “The other” will have a lot of feelings around this— hold space without losing yourself.

Health and wellness are a top priority. Any longstanding health issues will come to the surface, demanding to be dealt with. Create more stable routines around your wellness and work. Don’t let your fears dissuade you from a deeper investigation.

The way you embrace fun and leisure is being examined. There may be glaring issues around intimacy that come to light— do not ignore these. Face what you’re shown and do your best to remain lighthearted. Lean on the advice of friends when feeling lost.

Family issues or insecurities stemming from within the home may resurface. If your foundations have changed, use this time to process that. Shifts within a family dynamic that spur larger life choices are likely. Don’t let nostalgia sway you.

The Moon’s Joy is going to bolster this lunar event for you. Pay close attention to dreams and synchronicities. There’s magic in your day-to-day world, but you need to remain aware to truly see it. Now is a good time to rework old habits and routines so you can live more intuitively.

Lessons around finances will come to light. There’s a strong need to examine how debts and other people’s resources impact your personal situation. Set yourself on the path to not make the same mistakes. Make career choices with both head and heart.

This eclipse will bring out an iteration of identity that you’ve been working so hard on. It’s okay to finally release outdated ways of being. You no longer have to hold on to past versions of yourself for the sake of others. Stand firm in who you are.
