Six Outfits You Can Copy Right Now

Let’s start with something casual for everyday wear: running errands, meeting a friend for coffee, or playing Mahjong (if you’re not playing yet, you will be soon). She’s pulling off these tomboy cargo pants because they’re balanced by a preppy striped shirt thrown over her shoulders, a luxe bag like this one and a pair of rock 'n' roll sandals like these that are 40% off right now. Her necklace stack is totally on point: a short, sparkly tennis-style necklace (Dorsey’s lab-grown sapphire necklace has the most amazing glimmer effect), then a larger semi-precious charm (Jen Meyer’s turquoise and diamond heart is still on our wish list), then a longer, personalized dog tag-style necklace and an even longer one (we’d do a small locket). She has a few other shorter pieces tucked into the tee, but just follow this four-necklace formula for the perfect stack. We love the idea of adding a casual fabric strap to a designer bag to change the vibe and add a pop of color, and we’re imagining her in some chic but comfy boots with a little height like these (read the ratings, they’re worth the splurge).

Here’s a great outfit to remember when you’re having one of those "I have nothing to wear and need to leave in five minutes" moments. Grab your favorite chambray shirt and don’t forget to roll up the sleeves (this one is the perfect shade of light blue if you’re on the hunt), a fun patterned skirt like this one we just found and want and happens to be 40% off, or this one with texture. Then throw on gladiator sandals and a crossbody fancier bag like this quilted one. The mis-match of a summer outfit with a dressier evening bag creates the perfect amount of tension and that’s the essence of style. Great design almost always has controlled imbalance.

Again, her accessories are doing a lot of work to make this outfit feel special: a statement bangle like this one and her sculptural earrings are eye-catching (these give a similar vibe), and the mini straw bag and big-buckle sandals (here are those exact ones) add texture.

Here’s an outfit we’d wear to the office, a work meeting, a day at a museum or to meet a friend for a drink. Pair a perfect blue button-down with a crisp khaki skirt or wide-leg pants (this one from Banana is 30% off and has cool stitching). Give it a little feminine touch with a brooch (her fabric one is super cute, but check out this one). Add a designer belt and chic sneakers like these plus a men’s Louis Vuitton duffle (we’d opt for a previously owned one from The Real Real in excellent condition, at half the price).

We love this kind of boho, youthful-looking outfit for the weekend. Jorts can be polarizing, but a slightly oversized, faded black pair (we like these classic Levi’s Dad ones) with a western belt is working here (PS - Lucky’s western belt is now under $40). Add a black pattern peasant blouse, like this stunner or this one from Farm Rio that’s on major sale, to balance out the edge, then throw on some big reflective sunnies and fun sandals like these fab tortoise ones we found under $100!
