Good morning!
It’s Friday, and our magical meandering trail has taken us away from the mostly dry arroyos of Tucson and up to the paved footpath running alongside the Haya River in Hakone, Japan.
It’s hot here, and far more humid than Tucson. So we’ll stand in the shade of this magnificent tree and bask in the refreshing sounds of water rushing over rocks and waterfalls. Just a bit further upstream, two men in waders are patiently angling for a meal while hundreds of dragonflies swoop and dive and glide through the air for theirs.
“Place yourself in the middle of the stream of power and wisdom which animates all whom it floats, and you are without effort impelled to truth, to right and a perfect contentment.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson
Respiteers, won’t you float with me for a while this afternoon? As always, check your inbox right before 2pm EDT for the magic link.
Onwards,
Clara
